G'day!
Well I hope this is actually worth sharing. This is my newest attempt at the Neighbours Theme using garageband and a Carbon 49. midi keyboard. It's not perfect!!! This video includes two versions of the same instrumental track in two different keys. The current key and the original 80’s/90’s key.
I tried to blend the current theme idea to the early years. Not sure if I quite mastered that - sometimes improvisation can take you somewhere else... but it seems to fit pretty well to the 1998 opening! It sounds quite computer game-ish, but i just went with it. Enjoyed finding some new melody moments which seems to happen whenever a new theme is introduced.
I’ve still got 6 days isolation left so will do more. I fancy having a go at the Fletcher theme from the Home and Away early years.
