Our Contributor Series for Issue XI continues today with Alli Donovan, Kylie Stine, and Alana McConnell, women passionate about engaging in and welcoming people to the community of Indianapolis. They share how Life in Indy is reaching out to the vast network of residents and how college students can feel at home on campus and beyond. The Indyfluencers also talk about the best part of getting to connect with people who also love where they live and the fun that can result from meeting.
Meet our guests:
Alli Donovan is a proud Indiana native, born and raised in Vincennes, with Indianapolis as her home for the past ten years. A 2018 graduate of the Kelley School of Business in Indianapolis, Alli has built a career in marketing and communications and is now the Content & Community Marketing Manager at the Indy Chamber, leading the Life in Indy initiative and focusing on talent attraction and regional branding. Alli is actively involved in the community and has served on several nonprofit boards and committees with organizations like the American Marketing Association, Indy Design Week, IndyHub’s 1828 Leadership Program, and the 2024 USA Swimming Olympic Trials. A passionate explorer, Alli visited all 50 states by the age of 22. Her love for discovery fuels her enthusiasm for Indianapolis, where she’s always uncovering new experiences and championing the city as one of the best places to live, work, and play.
Kylie Stine is an internal communications professional at Eli Lilly. She lives on Indy's northside with her two cats and enjoys exploring coffee shops, taking dance classes, and listening to live music. In addition to being an Indyfluencer, Kylie actively serves at Traders Point Christian Church and on the Butler Young Alumni Board.
As a transplant from Cincinnati, Alana McConnell moved to Indianapolis in 2017. There she attended Marian University, graduating from the Byrum School of Business. She started and grew her career in enrollment management at Marian before taking a power pause to be at home to raise her son. With a baby on her hip, she is in the works to launch her brand in Fall of 2026 so stay tuned!
Alana, her husband and her son now live in Westfield and are getting involved in the community. Family time includes attending farmers markets, exploring new coffee shops, and walking around all the trails around the Indy area.
