দুর্নীতির মামলায় বিএনপির ভারপ্রাপ্ত চেয়ারম্যান তারেক রহমানের স্ত্রী, ডা. জুবাইদা রহমানের ৩ বছরের সাজার বিরুদ্ধে করা আপিলের রায় বুধবার। মামলার আরেক আসামি তারেক রহমান আপিল না করলেও জুবাইদা রহমানের সাথে তারও খালাসের আবেদন জানিয়েছেন আইনজীবীরা।

The verdict in the appeal filed by Dr. Zubaida Rahman, wife of BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman, against the 3-year sentence in a corruption case was delivered on Wednesday. Tarique Rahman, another accused in the case, did not appeal, but his lawyers have appealed for his acquittal along with Zubaida Rahman.
