Switzerland is NEXT LEVEL! | Splügen, San Bernardino & Gotthard

Back into the high stuff! We leave the warmth of Lake Como and head into the clouds for a massive day of Alpine passes. This leg takes us through some of the most dramatic and intense roads of the entire trip, starting with the tight, hair-raising bends of the Splügen Pass.

From the "stepped" roads that look impossible on a map to the iconic Gotthard Pass, Switzerland delivered some of the most breathtaking views we’ve seen so far. We also tackle the "Swiss Panic"—the constant worry of accidentally breaking a rule and getting a massive fine. We wrap the day up in Andermatt, famous for Bond's Goldfinger, where we pay way too much for food and set up camp in the rain.
