In this video, I stay the night in the Corinthia Hotel in Central Budapest, rumoured to be the inspiration for Wes Anderson's 2014 cult classic film, the Grand Budapest Hotel.
The hotel was opened in 1896, and was a mainstay of Hungarian high society until the Second World War, when it was bombed. Under Communist rule, it was modernised and much of its old world charm was lost, but in the 21st century, it has been restored to its former glory.
In this hotel review, I check out what a room is like at the hotel, take in some of the interior decor and check out the famous Royal Spa.
