3 DAYS IN ATHENS | Hidden Gems in Athens | Acropolis Athens | First Time in Athens | Greece

Day 1: Our adventure begins at Monastiraki Square, a bustling place in Athens. We then wander through Athens Old Town, a picturesque area with a rich history. Our first stop is the stunning Church of Saint Demetrios in Psyrri, known for its amazing architecture.

Next, we visit Ethnikis Antistaseos Square, where you can find a beautiful waterfall, creating a peaceful oasis in the city. We also pass by Omonia Square and the University of Athens, both showcasing ancient structures. The day's highlight is our hike up Mount Lycabettus, offering a fantastic view of Athens. We end the day with a visit to the tranquil Athens National Garden.

Day 2: We begin the day by exploring the Prison of Socrates, a place with a fascinating history. Then, we head to the famous Acropolis, which welcomes around 3 million visitors every year. The entry ticket costs 20€.

After a well-deserved lunch, we take leisurely strolls in Athens Old Town, filled with charming streets. We visit the Roman Agora and indulge in some ice cream at DaVinci. The day concludes with a visit to the Hellenic Parliament to witness the interesting presidential guard ceremony.

Day 3: We hop on a tram and accidentally end up at a beautiful beach, which is a pleasant surprise. We have a delicious lunch at Lit Athens restaurant and explore more of the city's streets. Then, we visit the impressive Arch of Hadrian and the iconic Panathenaic Stadium, which is truly breathtaking.

Our adventure ends with a special dinner at Orizontes restaurant on Lycabettus hill. This exclusive dinner, arranged by Thomas, offers a stunning view of the sunset and the city lights at night.
