Whether you're a classroom teacher, a homeschooling parent, or just someone who likes to understand things, this is the video to get you started on growing mushrooms with a home mushroom growing DIY kit (which are easy to use and inexpensive, and available at TheFungalNetwork.net). Education is all about teachable moments, so we're going to get you started with the teachable moments that come with unpacking your box and seeing what is included in the kit. We'll go over the growing bag and the substrate inside of it, the spawn bag, and the humidity tent, telling you ways that each connect to an understanding of biology and the natural world.
