Mindel Summer Jazz is an intimate jazz festival held annually during the first week of August in the city of Mindelo, Cape Verde.
This journey began in 2012 with a one-night alternative music festival in a well-defined space. Since 2015, we have evolved into a five-day Alternative Music Festival that extends beyond the physical space of its main event at "Praçinha de Liceu Bedje," where the jazz village will once again be built. As always, it will open up to other areas of the city, namely the Mindelo Marina, the Mindelo Cultural Center, the CNAD Patio, and Praça Nova. Various parallel activities will be held, giving Mindelo a true Mornajazz soul during these days, reaching the city streets, inspiring residents, and transforming Mindelo into a truly cultural city through a bold and diverse artistic proposal, centered on various artistic forms, in a mix of improvisations typical of jazz and creol times.

O Mindel Summer Jazz é um festival de jazz intimista que acontece anualmente na 1ª semana de agosto, na cidade do Mindelo em Cabo Verde.
Esta caminhada iniciou em 2012 com um festival de musica alternativa de uma noite num espaço bem definido e desde 2015 passámos para um Festival Musical Alternativo de cinco dias que extravasa o espaço físico da realização do seu evento maior na “Praçinha de Liceu Bedje” onde se erguerá uma vez mais o jazz village que como sempre comportará uma abertura a outras zonas da cidade, nomeadamente a Marina do Mindelo, o Centro Cultural do Mindelo, o Pátio do CNAD e a Praça Nova com diversas atividades paralelas conferindo a Mindelo nesses dias uma verdadeira alma Mornajazz, chegando às ruas da cidade, contaminando os munícipes, transformando Mindelo numa Urbe efetivamente cultural por uma proposta artística ousada e diversificada, centrada em diversas formas artísticas, numa miscelânea de improvisações típica de tempos jazzísticos e crioulos.
