Woodturning| Texture and Rainbow Waxes on Spalted Ash

This project was done prior to the textured and stained maple bowl, but I seemed to have forgotten to finish the editing for it.

The ash was from a local farm and had some lovely spalting going on.

The idea for this bowl came from a demo by Darren Breeze at the ‪@ChestnutProducts‬ Woodturning Weekender and inspired me to buy some rainbow waxes, unfortunately there was no blue left by the time I got to the stall, so Purple and Green it was.

The texturing was done with my ‪@DremelUK‬ 4000 with flexishaft and I used the following bits:
9934 - Structured Tooth Tungsten Carbide Cutter coned 7,8 mm
114 - High Speed Cutter 7,8 mm
471S - EZ SpeedClic Detail Abrasive Brush 36grit

So I am very close now to the 1k subscriber milestone, so I am likely to be announcing a giveaway in my next video.

Other than the rainbow waxes, I also used Chestnut Products, Cellulose Sanding Sealer, Ebonising Lacquer, Acrylic Gloss Lacquer and microcrystalline wax.

‪@EasyWoodTools‬ Yorkshire Grit Original were also used

Turned on my ‪@RecordPowerTV‬ Coronet Herald Lathe.
