Lisbon's Jacarandas in bloom are a feast for the eye around May and June. I decided to take a walk in the centre, around the area of Marquês de Pombal square and the park of Parque Eduardo VII, where several of these impressive trees can be seen, and recorded that walk in a smooth and relaxed way. The beautiful colour of the Jacarandas was bright and sparkling against the blue sky, creating an almost hypnotic effect. I walked up the park of Parque Eduardo VII, went inside the garden of Jardim Amália Rodrigues and finished at the viewpoint of Parque Eduardo VII, with stunning views over Lisbon Downtown and the Tejo River in the distance.
