The 2015-16 school year marks ISB's 35th anniversary. Our school has come a long way from its humble beginnings in 1980, when we opened with eight students and two teachers in a downtown diplomatic apartment compound. We have undergone dramatic changes over the following decades, including relocating to Shunyi and basing our teaching practices on changing realities of the 21st century. However, our commitment to ignite each child’s passion for lifelong learning is an enduring legacy. In this video, past and present faculty, administrators, board trustees, and students share their memories about the school's proud history and exciting future.
