Here is a video all about tuning snare drums.
I show you batter head changes and tuning for 3 different Ludwig drums.
I demonstrate how I tune quickly and efficiently with both plastic and calf heads.
All of the drums have diplomat snare (bottom) heads.
The drums are:
14" x 5" Ludwig Wood Orchestral Snare 10 Lugs. Bottom head tuned to A
14" x 6.5" Ludwig 1920's NOB "Special" 10 Lugs. Bottom head tuned to G
14 x 5.5" Ludwig 1970's Supraphonic 10 Lugs. Bottom head tuned to A
