Schmeisser Holzhacker Challenge 2023 Belgium

On 28 and 29 January 2023 we organised the “Schmeisser Holzhacker Challenge” for the 1st time in Belgium. The event took place at shooting range ’t Mikpunt in Maasmechelen. 200 participants competed against each other in the Holzhacker Challenge and several side competitions. This is the aftermovie.

The main event:

The shooter tries to “cut through” the wooden post as quickly as possible with a Schmeisser AR15 - 9 (9 x 19 mm). The shooter who has the fastest time at the end of the competition day wins. Time runs from the start signal until the severed part hits the ground.

Side events:

Bowling Pin (steel plates):

The shooter tries to shoot the 6 bowling pins as quickly as possible with the Schmeisser AR15 - 9 and Schmeisser Hugo 1911 (9 x 19 mm). 2 series are fired (2 x 6 rounds), 1 serie with the carbine, 1 serie with the pistol. The number of pins knocked over + the combined time of the 2 series determines the final score.

100 m precision:

12 shots at 100 m with the Schmeisser DMR .223rem. The shooter with the highest score wins
