It's thought Labour will stick to Conservative plans to cut spending on UK incapacity benefits by £3bn by the end of the parliament.
But reports ministers will seek further billions by reducing eligibility for personal independence payments (Pips) are now in question, as it's thought Keir Starmer and Rachel Reeves are gearing up for a humiliating U-turn.
If the rumoured level of cuts is true, this would be the biggest reduction to benefits since 2015.
