Take a real-time morning walk with me and my Aussiedoodle Houston through the streets of Pickering, Ontario, filmed on a calm and sunny September 3, 2025 with an iPhone 13. This 30-minute walk starts on Valley Farm Road, winds along Finch Avenue, turns down Liverpool Road, and follows Kingston Road, passing by the landmark Pickering Town Centre Mall. It’s a casual stroll through a vibrant and walkable city, perfect for treadmill users or anyone who enjoys watching the world go by at a relaxed pace.

We begin on Valley Farm Road, a wide suburban road lined with mature trees and residential neighborhoods. From there, we turn onto Finch Avenue, where traffic picks up slightly and the city begins to stir. As we head south on Liverpool Road, we enter one of Pickering’s main thoroughfares, passing community spaces, small businesses, and school zones. We then loop east onto Kingston Road, walking alongside the ever-busy Pickering Town Centre Mall, one of the city's best-known landmarks. The route offers a unique blend of residential calm and urban energy.
