Warrington self storage or the Pink eye building as I've always know it sits on the Warrington Bank Quay hook of the river Mersey. Painted in 1999, artist Anthony Turk spent two weeks painting the a giant mural on the side of the 110ft high former flour mill on Athertons Quay – depicting an eye shedding one solitary tear on the old Fairclough Mill in Sankey Bridges.
Spawning not only a landmark building in the town on the Pink Eye roundabout.
