How-To Replace the Trim Line on the Torque ATB Control System

How to change ATB trim line

Tools needed:

Hex key size imperial 3/32

Spare piece of thin line about 40 cm (or 15inches) long

Cutter of pair of scissor
1. Remove leash ring and pull flagging line up through torque loop

2. Open top of torque loop part using Allen key

3. Take cap off and slide apart the two top sections under the cap
4. Remove old trim line from the top of the torque loop part

5. Cut old trim line above the handle
6. Pull old trim line out of cleat part
7. Pull trim line out of line organizer
8. Disconnect old trim line from cleat and discard it
9. Connect new trim line to bottom of cleat by making a larks head knot
10. Use spare piece of line to feed new trim line thru through Torque loop's cleat

11. Feed trim line through line organizer
12. Feed trim line through cleat and position cleat above the red marking on trim line
13. Feed trim line through handle's opening
14. Tie a figure eight knot with it's top lining up with marking on trim line
15. Pull trim line figure eight know tight inside the handle.
16. Feed trim line's bottom loop through cap of torque loop part
17. Connect trim line to top of torque loop part
18. Slide Torque loop top parts together

19. Install and screw cap on top of Torque loop's part
