Beauties and the Beat is the premiere all female a cappella group at the University of Texas. We are a student led organization that was established in 2013, and since then we have performed all around Austin and have travelled to places ranging from Arkansas to Florida to compete in a cappella competitions, and we have opened for Anna Kendrick and performed at SXSW in the past. We are big believers in community involvement, and we perform at UT and around Austin as often as possible. As an all-female group, one of our main goals is to promote female empowerment through our music and our presence on campus.
