This is my playthrough of the Battle of Tunis: Punic Campaign on hardest difficulty fastest game speed in Age of Empires Definitive Edition.
This is one of those levels where you'll be fighting to survive early on, and you'll have to conserve resources. Red attacks by land, yellow attacks with navy (and occasionally drops troops off via transport). Hide your boats off to the side so they don't get destroyed and retreat your archers as well so they don't get destroyed by enemy triremes. Start econ right away - 1 on gold 1 on stone 1 on wood and rest on farms. Get sentry tower and war galley upgrade ASAP. Wall off your main harbor. Yellow will attack with giant navy including catapult triremes. Luckily they won't rebuild them (only regular triremes), so sink them and you will be safe.
The wall off in harbor is to force yellow computer to take the long route in when trying to drop in your base buying you precious time. Put towers at the front of your base. Eventually move your farms on the inside (they are too exposed on outside). For defense against red ground army a few calvary and archers and 2 towers at front will be enough. Focus on saving for iron age. Spam war galleys vs yellow. As you run out of stone, there is more to the south west. There is one relatively safe area (raised cliff that you can wall off and tower up) to grab more stone and wood.
Get iron age and triremes. You should be safe from yellow's navy at this point - just keep replenishing your own navy. Against red you will want elephant archers, elephants and a line of towers at the border - There is a river with three crossings. Throw up a few towers here with priests to help heal your elephants. Red should now be contained. The elephant archers will help counter all the heavy artillery that red sends over.
Now focus on invading yellow. You can backdoor them by landing to the northeast, going up north (destroying tons of towers in the process) and rescuing some mercenaries (or go around to the northwest landing area, chopping your way through), and then having your mercenaries break through the towers. Either way they won't have enough firepower to do too much and will likely die off. At this point establish a beachhead with your triremes and start pumping out elephant archers and catapults to take out yellow's main base up the cliff. They will likely relocate and build more down by the shore. Take out the cliff base first, making sure to offensive tower to aggro all enemy villagers. Then clean up the rest with your elephant archers.
Now for red. This will be a way of attrition. There is a narrow strip of land to the north of red's base that contains the remaining gold on the map. It is bounded by cliffs that form a narrow path to this area so the villagers will make easy pickings. Build some towers there to claim it for yourself. Now that red is starved out you can slow push with catapults and elephant archers. The enemy priests will convert, but at this point the ONLY way to lose the game is if you didnt save up enough resources to build the final wonder - and yellow manages to hide some transport off in the middle of nowhere. So kill the priests, destroy the temple and you will be safe. Slowly attrition your way to victory with catapults and elephant archers (this will help counter all the enemy artillery). Get armored war elephant upgrade only if you still have enough left for wonder, otherwise don't even bother. Victory soon follows.
