Two years after the discovery of human bones in a Barnsley field, the new lead officer is issuing a fresh plea for information.
On Sunday 4 February 2018, police were called after members of the public found bones in a field near to a property off Mitchell’s Street, in the Swaithe area of Barnsley.
The bones were later identified as being the remains of Martin Neil Radford, a Barnsley man born on 28 October 1957.
A post mortem examination could not provide a cause of death, but confirmed that Martin had been dead for some time.
Did you know Martin, or did you know him as Ziggy or Ragsy? Had you seen him in the Kingstone or Swaithe areas of Barnsley, or did you see him elsewhere?
Did you know his friends or associates, do you know if anyone talked about him or said anything after the discovery in 2018?
