The Hangover Part II is a 2011 American comedy film and sequel to the 2009 film The Hangover, and the second installment in The Hangover trilogy. The film was directed by Todd Phillips.

In The Hangover Part II (2011), the Wolfpack travels to Bangkok, Thailand to celebrate Stu’s upcoming wedding with what’s supposed to be a low-key bachelor gathering. Determined to avoid another disaster, they plan a simple pre-wedding drink... but, unsurprisingly, everything goes wrong.

The group wakes up with no memory of the previous night, a trashed hotel room, a missing groom’s brother Teddy, a monkey with a habit, and a trail of increasingly disturbing clues scattered across the city. As Phil, Stu, Alan, and Doug retrace their steps through Bangkok’s underworld, they uncover just how far things spiraled out of control.

Darker, more chaotic, and intentionally more shocking than its predecessor, The Hangover Part II leans into escalation pushing the limits of comedy while revisiting the Wolfpack’s inability to learn from past mistakes. The result is a sequel that doubles down on absurdity, consequences, and pure comedic mayhem. Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms and Ken Jeong all return providing us with some fantastic humor and aweomse callbacks.
