Join myself, a local professional photographer and experience southern Utah through my eyes.
We chase fall colors, listen to elk bugle across wide meadows, and watch the landscape shift and glow as each day unfolds. These are remote places I’ve spent years exploring—hidden pockets of mountains, aspen groves, quiet forests, and high-country lakes that few people ever step into.
Andrew and I logged hours traversing unmaintained dirt roads on motorcycles, reaching locations filled with lakes, cliffs, sparse trails, and an incredible amount of wildlife. Each night we camped out, sleeping under the stars and waking with the sun as elk called deep into the darkness and again at daybreak.
The silence out there was almost deafening—the only sounds were distant bugles, birds moving through the trees, and squirrels rustling in the underbrush.
As a full-time landscape photographer and long-time local, I’ve spent countless days exploring every ridge, meadow, and forgotten drainage in search of the best light and color. Each fall, my good friends and fellow photographers join me so we can ride deep into the backcountry and finally photograph the places that have been on my radar for years.
This year’s trip delivered—quiet, raw, and better than we expected.
You can join me on many workshop experiences: Fall colors, winter light, backpacking canyons, or camping under the stars. Each workshop is led by myself. -
