Attaching a Braided Loop to a Fly Line
If you have ever tried attaching a braided loop to a fly line you will quickly realize it can be a little tricky. In this video I demonstrate how we attach braided loops at the shop and how to create a more secure connection. Using monofilament, we secure the end of the braided sleeve agains the line so it does not slip off.
If your fly line or sink-tip does not come with a loop already on it, or your factory welded loop breaks, this is a great fix to adding a loop in your fly line tip.
