What role will the metaverse play in the educational world?
This talk will discuss the first experiences and their impact on students' learning process. Renaat is an innovation adviser, communication and leadership coach for executives, virtual entrepreneur, speaker, and runner. Twenty years ago, he discovered virtual worlds and got intrigued by their opportunities and potential, not only for entertainment but also for business, training and education. After spending irresponsible amounts of time online, he developed strategies to optimize the learning process by using those virtual worlds, also known as the Metaverse. In this talk, he will reveal the ins and outs of using virtual worlds for education and answer the question of the year: will the Metaverse replace traditional education?
