What do you get when you mix Robin Hood, a motorcycle, a steak, and matzo pancakes?
A one-night microadventure in legendary Sherwood Forest — and it all counts toward my Scouts Cymru Gold Dragon Award!
For the April challenge ("the unusual camp"), I set off from London on my motorbike to spend the Easter & Passover weekend under the trees of Robin Hood’s forest.
Dinner? Grilled steak over an open fire.
Breakfast? Traditional Passover Matzo Brei cooked outdoors.
And of course — because it's the UK — the heavens opened just as I packed up camp. Classic!
