Almost any detective / mystery story in the last 100 years takes some heavy inspiration from Sherlock Holmes. Even if they're not being overt. A lot of these are better than others and one in particular always jumped out in my mind as having PERFECTED formula. Let's take a look at how Shawn and Gus managed to perfectly portray everything that made Sherlock Holmes such a great character to begin with.
