In this video, you’ll learn how to make a unique and delicious Ghiya Baingan Chicken curry — a healthy combination of bottle gourd (ghiya), eggplant (baingan), and chicken, cooked in flavorful spices. This dish is perfect for summer and goes well with roti or rice.
Ingredients:
Chicken – 500g
Bottle Gourd (Ghiya) – 250g
Eggplant (Baingan) – 250g
Onions – 2 (finely chopped)
Tomatoes – 2 (chopped)
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
Turmeric, Red Chili, Coriander Powder, Salt – to taste
Oil – 3 tbsp
Cooking Instructions:
1. Heat oil and sauté onions until golden.
2. Add ginger garlic paste and cook until aromatic.
3. Add tomatoes and spices. Cook until the masala is well blended.
4. Add chicken and sauté until color changes.
5. Add chopped ghiya and baingan. Mix well.
6. Cover and cook on medium heat until vegetables are tender and chicken is cooked.
7. Serve hot with roti or steamed rice.
