"Zion Hears the Watchmen's Voices" is a movement from "Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme" (Sleeper's Awake) from Bach's Cantata BWV 140. The text is based on a hymn by Philipp Nicolai and it is about the parable of the ten virgins (Matthew 25:1-13).
The conductor in this recording is Stephen Schmall, and the organist is Robert Vickery. Recorded during February 1997.
