SPECIAL Tribute video to ALL 1st to 3rd gen trains: C151, C651, C751B

Upon the conclusion of 1st gen KHI C151 on the commemorative KHI farewell event on last Sunday 28 September 2025 at Ang Mo Kio MRT station, ALL pre KSFs or 3 gen oldest train fleets have officially (& going to be) decommissioned and retired from passenger service.

Myself, as Railyexcites, would like to take this opportunity to say a big THANK YOU and my greatest appreciations to every old train fleets/trainsets of the entire #C151 #C651 and #C751B train family for faithfully serving us since 1987, 1995 and 2000 respectively.

I really have lots of fond memories of every of all of these 1st 3 gens of trains in Singapore North South and East west lines...as I literally grew up together with all 3 gens of them, and all 3 of them were in a major part of my childhood as I was born in 1994...I took an unrefurbished KHI C151 before many times... seeing these old trains getting officially retired from train services really makes my heart pain...

Today marks the first weekday of not having even the first gen KHI C151 on train service... it'll certainly take me some time of getting use to as we embrace the future train Alstom Movia R151 fleet (unknown why NSL still doesn't have any batch 2 R151s running?).

To conclude, Railyexcites will be signing this video off with my greatest gratitude to every old train fleets! Salute 🫡 to every old trains and may they rest peacefully in rail heaven. (Still really sad to see them go).

The most iconic part of KHI was 2 of them (trainset 085/086 & 129/130) served NSL for late night for the one and only time in fhw start of sep 2025 (KHI final in service month), which happened so rarely ever since late Sep 2024 EWL 6 days disruption owing to a derailed bogie from the ill-fated EMU KHI C151 065/066. The trainsets 085/086 & 129/130 carried the late night service train baton after KSFA 549/550 broke down on NSL, which helped eased the late night NSL demand, even when these trains are about to retire from passenger service!
