Today I'm in Kuala Lumpur. I'm taking the metro train station (rapid KL) to the Batu Caves. To do this, I'm starting off from the KL Sentral station. It is a very easy process. Just buy the ticket and head down stairs. The KL Sentral station also has a big shopping center.
If you come to Kuala Lumpur, youll very likely make a few stops by the KL Sentral Station. There is a bus that takes you directly to the airport here for a good price.
The ticket fro KL Sentral to the Batu Caves is about $.60 USD. It takes about 30-45 minutes or so. The Batu Caves are walking distance from the station once you get off (less than 5 minutes or so).
The entrance is free of charge. There are lots of people taking pictures and videos. Its a great spot for pictures. There are lots of animals all over (be careful!), monkeys, birds, and bats can be seen here.
The Batu Caves (temple) is a hindu based temple and does come with rules in terms of attire (coverings). The caves are said to be over 400 million years old. Overall, this temple is really impressive.
