This toilet confirms the Bible.
Yes, really.
2 Kings 10:27 says that God’s people tore down the temple of Baal and turned it into a latrine—mocking the false god and desecrating his shrine. And as it turns out… this wasn’t just a one-time event.
In the ancient city of Lachish, archaeologists discovered a pagan shrine with its altars deliberately destroyed—and a toilet placed right next to them in the most sacred space of the room. This toilet wasn’t for convenience. It was a statement. A public humiliation of a false god.
Archaeologists believe this act of desecration was part of King Hezekiah’s reforms, when he tore down the high places and smashed the sacred pillars of Baal worship in Judah (2 Kings 18:3–4).
This discovery doesn’t prove Christianity all by itself, but it’s one more stone added to the growing mountain of evidence confirming the Bible.
