Today, we're going to explore a French Tier VIII battleship that was built to counter the Italian fleet in the Mediterranean Sea. After the outbreak of World War II, Richelieu was charged with an important mission—the battleship evacuated the gold reserves of France, Belgium, Poland, and the Netherlands to Africa. The ship is armed with 380 mm guns and enjoys high speed, solid armor, and high-quality anti-torpedo defenses.
