How to easily fix residential air conditioner AC unit for $14 CAD

This is to show you how to easily fix my air conditioner AC unit with the problem where it would turn on for 5-15 min then stop and wouldn't be able to restart itself back on. First, I need to check for bad capacitor whether it is still within specification as stated on the label. If the capacitor is indeed bad, I would replace with the brand new one with similar capacitance rating capacitor as shown in this video. Secondly, if your HVAC system uses Venstar "Add-A-Wire" ACC0410 accessory, it might just be that the accessory is not functioning properly. Remove it or replace with a new one in order to fix the air conditioner not being able to automatically start the compressor.
There are many reasons why the compressor wouldn't be able to restart itself. Bad capacitor is most likely the culprit. That is why we need to check and replace it if the capacitor is not within specification. Hope it helps!
