Our newest experiment is doing wonders in free greenhouse heating with compost. We can take recycled bagged green waste. Everything from bagged compost, dry rabbit manure, leaves, grass clippings, and build a black wall of compost to heat our greenhouses for free. We can do this on the inside and outside. Took a tour group inside this in zone 6b Ogden Utah on a freezing day. Compared this to the temps inside greenhouses that didn’t have this. There was a slow radiant heat that you could feel. Helping grow this lemon tree in Utah. This is a brand new greenhouse we have updated to heating by compost and water masses. So far so good.
