Notes on what I cover on Day 21 of my journey to 100% hearing:
Environments with echo or reverb are hard to hear in. I cannot make out the words in someone’s speech.
Communication is still tough. I need slow speech and eye contact.
Two crazy noises. 1.) I heard someone taking a breath in between sentences. 🤯 2.) I heard the crunch of someone walking on gravel outside my trailer, while I was inside my trailer. I can now hear through walls.
Singing at church is hard. Lots of noise that’s indiscernible. Am I pitchy when singing? lol. Maybe. And it’s crazy to think how off I used to be without being able to hear exactly.
Im at 85% hearing on my right ear today! What a huge blessing this is! Yay!!
We are 15% away!
