I think a common larvae farming misconception is that you get a tub, you get some larvae, you feed them and ... profit! But there are a few details in that "..." that need to be addressed.
I've shown several aspects of my operation, and none of it is a set it and forget it system that some may lead you to believe. I think this oversimplification is due to the viral and clickable nature of such a small glimpse at a complex lifecycle.
Don't get me wrong: this is doable, but it won't be as hands off as some may lead you to believe, especially when you live in an area that experiences harsh winters.
So in today's episode: I talk about vessels for larvae farming. Some are better than others, and surface area to depth is a big factor.
