As a gospel group, SWV (@swvofficial6243) began in 1988, and later became one of the largest R&B groups of the 1990s. Founded in New York, SWV consists of Cheryl (Coko) Gamble, Tamara (Taj) George, and Leanne (Lelee) Lyons. The group disbanded in 1998 to pursue solo projects, but not before blessing the world with hits such as "Weak", "Right Here," and "I'm So into You," among many others. Having sold tens of millions of records worldwide, SWV has been nominated for multiple awards and achieved several top ten hits in the industry, making them one of the best-selling girl groups in the world.
