I’m speaking directly to estranged parents who are heartbroken, confused, and asking: Why my child? The truth is, narcissists and controlling partners target people for specific traits—kindness, vulnerability, loneliness, or even emotional dependence.

This isn’t your fault. But understanding the emotional traps your child fell into can help you plant seeds for healing. I also talk about unmet needs, the illusion of love, and how toxic control slowly replaces connection.
