Today we're going to learn how to play "Smart Racquetball" and improve your game. First, lets imagine a line down the center of the court, halfway between each sidewall. And then you imagine another line down the Short Line. This would break the court up into four quadrants. You'll always want to put the ball in the quadrant farthest from your opponent, in this case, my opponent is Judd from Pacific Sports Warehouse.
In the example video, we can see that Judd is in the back right quadrant. For this, I would use the sidewall or a Pinch Shot. I want the second bounce to be the furthest distance from my opponent.
Let's move Judd up to the Front Right Quadrant and figure out where to land my shot for this situation. I want to hit a shot that will put him in the Back Left Quadrant.
If your opponent is in good position in Center Court, you'll have to hit a good defensive ball. An example of a good Defensive Ball would be a Pass or a Ceiling Ball. Basically, you want to keep attacking to drive him out of his position and get him behind you which will allow you to reclaim Center Court.
