Our trailer is a 2005 model year. It gets used hard and we were noticing some weird movement when loading the skid steer and it was making a lot of creaking noises when we would hit bumps or hit the brakes.
SO Lacey ordered the best gooseneck hitch in the game (i guess some brands may disagree with that statement lol). This hitch uses the air bag behind the gooseneck ball to eat up some of the rougher moments of the drive. By doing this it also reduces the stress on the trailer and all of the occupants inside the truck.
Using it for a couple weeks now and I have to say it does seem to work pretty good. still feel a little surge but its much calmer now and the squeaking and creaking went away.
