Activity 26 – Completing the Shapes | IGNOU DECE Project | Early Childhood Education
In this activity, I am guiding children to complete different shapes such as circle, square, triangle, and rectangle. This activity helps in developing observation, coordination, and logical thinking skills. Children learn to recognize patterns, match parts, and complete the given shapes creatively and correctly.
Objectives:
To help children identify and complete basic shapes.
To develop fine motor and observation skills.
To encourage focus, accuracy, and creativity.
Material Used:
Shape worksheets, crayons, pencils, colour paper cut-outs, and chart.
Learning Outcome:
Children successfully completed different shapes, identified their names, and improved their concentration, hand control, and shape recognition skills.
