After 2 years, I’m finally home in India! I first came to Canada as a student, and built a life here, and now, after graduating and getting a full-time job in Toronto, I’m finally taking this long-awaited trip back.


This series is about everything that comes with living far away and meeting your family again after a long time. The chaos makes us feel at home.. I felt the stress of airport security, immigration checks, luggage delays, and long flights, as well as the overwhelming joy of reuniting with my family and reconnecting with the life I left behind.

Spending time back home has been emotional in so many ways—meeting my school friends after years, going on road trips, reliving childhood memories, and eating all the amazing food I’ve missed—Pav Bhaji, Vada Pav, Bombay Sandwich, everything! After staying alone for so long, it’s not easy to reconnect with your true self, but being home brings back a part of me that I didn’t even realize I was missing.

This series has it all—from me leaving Toronto, Canada, to spending the best moments with friends and family, and eventually leaving India again to come back to my life in Canada.
