Power Electronics – EE Master Specialisation

The specialisation Power Electronics (PE) is one of the several Electrical Engineering Master specialisations. It covers transforming one way of electrical power to another way. Eg. AC to DC. Or DC to AC. Or DC to DC.
Everywhere where there is electric power involved; power Electronics are involved.

You could think about the energy transition moving towards green renewable energy. For example at solar plants and windmills. But also, maritime vessels and aircrafts use power electronics.
