Very catchy tune (and nice accompanying video) which made a dent in the U.S. R&B and Pop charts in late '89. Produced by Shep Pettibone; written by Darbyshire/Mole. This song appears on Shirley's only solo album to date, entitled 'Passion.' She's sung backgrounds on tour and in the studio for the likes of George Michael, Luther Vandross, and Elton John. FYI, the chant on this song is 'O monay lay c'est au' -- I know that last part is French; but I'm stumped on 'monay lay.' A dialect? Anyone know? ... Also check out another SL video on my channel!
