Today, I’ll take you on a relaxing journey through the Ho Chi Minh City Metro, also known as the HCMC Metro or Saigon Metro, riding along the Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien Line (Metro Line 1) — Vietnam’s first metro line in Ho Chi Minh City.

This is a short but very enjoyable metro ride, starting at Ben Thanh Station in the city center and ending at Thao Dien Station, one of the most modern and vibrant areas of the city. Along the way, we’ll pass through several stations that showcase how fast and modern public transportation in Vietnam is evolving.

This metro line represents the second metro system in Vietnam, following the Hanoi Metro, but it stands out with its clean, spacious, modern trains, well-designed stations, and smooth ride quality.
