How to fix OVAL holes on the Bambulab X1C

We kept encountering issues with ABS prints where the first full build plate or two would print successfully but then the next one would fail horrendously with oval holes.
Turns out that you need to clean your carbon rods way sooner than every 5kg like Bambulab states. Especially if you run ABS parts in a production setting. There's also a very specific way to clean the rods to ensure longer times between maintenance.
In this video we explain what happens, why the problem exists and how to thoroughly clean your machine to extend the time between maintenance cycles.
