The divide between your Philippine and your American identity can tear you apart, as often you feel out of place in both communities, despite identifying yourself as a part of both. In this piece, entitled "Kahit Saan Sa Gitna", I delve into the duality between Philippine-Americans' two identities, the struggles of exclusion, and the hopeful journey back into acceptance. This journey encapsulates the essence of "Maligayang Pagababalik" and the turmoil every Filipino-American must face. Made in collaboration with the University of Minnesota Philippine Student Association.
