During the first week of November this year, we did a four-night backpack trail with professional guide, Andrew Booth, of WildSide Trails in the far north of the Kruger National Park, South Africa. Andrew took us to the wildest, most scenic places in this Pafuri region, including Lanner Gorge, a fever tree forest, Hutwini Gorge, Mashishiti Spring and the Limpopo River. Highlights included walking barefoot in the Luvuvu River, camping on the rocks above the spring and seeing so many of northern Kruger's spectacular birds!

I can highly recommend doing this backpack trail in Pafuri with Andrew and WildSide - it's a proper bucket list adventure!
