Partnership Report 2024: A Message from DG Xinning Jia

Asia and the Pacific has made big gains in reducing poverty and growing economies, but challenges remain. Many still face inequality, poor education access, and exclusion. Climate change, soil loss, and water shortages threaten food supplies. Health systems and safety nets are under pressure, while cities struggle with overcrowding, poor transport, and limited public services. Conflicts and disasters force millions from their homes.

Solving these issues takes strong partnerships. In 2024, ADB committed $24.3 billion, with partners adding $14.9 billion more. Together, the partners supported 2 in every 5 ADB projects across 39 developing members. From governments to global funds and private sector allies, these collaborations are changing lives, protecting the planet, and powering inclusive growth.
