Madonna and ABC - The Look of Love/Holiday (Philthy Fun Holiday of Love Mix)

Mashup of Madonna's Holiday and ABC's The Look of Love. Link to the mashup sources below. During the pandemic, I began learning audio editing, remixing. When I heard a particular mix of The Look of Love in SoundCloud, there were parts of the arrangement that reminded me of Holiday. After increasing Holiday's BPM to 120, adding extra padding to Holiday's intro, and trimming some 80's style remix effects from The Look of Love, the verses and choruses lined up pretty easily.

I uploaded this mix a few years ago, but it was just audio with a static image. I finally created a performance video . I also made some minor improvements to the mix.

For Madonna, I sourced clips from 3 live performance videos: The Virgin Tour, The Blond Ambition Tour, and Top of the Pops. FUN FACT: Madonna’s brother, Christopher Ciccone, is the male dancer in the TOTP clip. For ABC, I sourced clips from The Look of Love's official music video and a live performance from TOTP.
